The Bard's Cards is moving!

We’re breaking a rather longer than intended blog silence to announce an important development. The Bard’s Cards is moving! We will now be providing the same Shakespeare greeting cards you know and love but from a slightly lower latitude. As of next week, all of The Bard’s Cards will be designed and printed in our new home: Austin, Texas.

In the spirit of the occasion, we’d like to celebrate in the way we celebrate essentially any occasion: with a handful of quotes from the Bard, lovingly taken out of context to suit our current circumstances.

On the subject of traveling (south)westward:

Olivia: There lies your way, due west.
Viola: Then westward-ho! Grace and good disposition Attend your ladyship*!
–Twelfth Night

*In this case of The Bard’s Cards, “ladyship” would refer to our very ladylike spokescat, Dinah

On the unfortunate state of living amongst boxes whilst moving:
Touchstone: When I was at home, I was in a better place; but travelers must be content.
–As You Like It

On new beginnings:
Ophelia: We know what we are, but know not what we may be.

We look forward to serving all of your Shakespeare greeting card needs from our new home!
